Over the summer, I worked collaboratively with Dan Over the summer, I worked collaboratively with Danny at @rodriguezcigars to reimagine their family owned #cigarfactory - he and I spent countless hours drawing together, revising, and recreating certain areas in his space while honoring his family’s original contributions to the space. It was such a soulful experience, and I am so proud of what we created. If you haven’t been, go and take a tour or buy a cigar and spend time with Danny. Listen to his stories. He’s such a passionate storyteller, and his heart and soul is ingrained in every part of his family legacy. While the current #interiordesign trends appear to While the current #interiordesign trends appear to be focused on beiges, lime washes, and zellige tiles, I am so grateful to have a client who isn’t afraid of #bolddesign and #color - this backsplash, finished by @alexturco.artisticsurfaces and recently installed turned out #frigginawesome - I also created a custom pattern and had my upholstery for the extreme backs of the #counterstools #emroidered to follow the pattern of our bait ball #oversizedart #backsplash - this kitchen was truly a labor love, and all I have to say is: Who cares what anyone else is doing or what trends there are to follow?
