ABOUT THE PROJECT
I designed this space for a good friend who was relocating from East Texas to Dallas. He wasn’t bringing much furniture and didn’t have an extravagant budget, but we worked to create an intimate, fun, and masculine space that captured his personality. His style leaned much more traditional in east Texas, but he asked me to push his boundaries and create something warm but contemporary. He also wanted to squeeze in his baby grand piano, so we decided to forgo a coffee table and bring in small ottomans that could be moved to allow for more people as well as provide additional seating.
